The main attraction of the show is the parade, held at the centre of the theme park.
Here are all the people sitting down in various locations in preparation for the parade.
I must admit, I thought the parade was going be like the one in Disneyland, or the Warner Studios, but they created a whole story around it (supposedly inspired by four fairytales). It’s not just a parade, but has dancing and acrobatics. I must admit I was really impressive and cried at the end – especially when they brought out Kitty’s iconic red bow and sang the theme song “Believe” – it’s a real homage to all those fans young and old who have “believed” in Hello Kitty for most of their lives.
I liked it so much I bought the DVD, and have watched it so many times I have almost committed the entire dialogue and lyrics from the soundtrack into memory.
So … I have decided to transcribe the entire dialogue (in Japanese) and provided a clumsy translation into English (I’m not sure about certain parts whether I have captured the dialogue correctly – would welcome comments and suggestions)
