Asia

Asia is Earth’s largest and most populous continent, located primarily in the Eastern and Northern Hemispheres. It is bounded on the east by the Pacific Ocean, on the south by the Indian Ocean, and on the north by the Arctic Ocean.

We have visited mainly South East Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand), Hong Kong and Japan. We hope to visit more countries in the future.

Singapore 2017 Day 1: Singapore Flyer

We explore the base of the observation wheel, which is a rainforest garden occupying the entire central atrium of the main Terminal Building. The "rainforest" contains tropical trees and shrubs, cascading water displays, streams, and rocky outcrops beneath the Flyer wheel.

Japan 2017

We returned to Japan in 2017 and visited Tokyo, then headed down south to Okayama and Hiroshima, returning via Osaka and Kyoto.

Japan 2008

Our first trip to Japan (10-22 April 2008)! We arrived in Tokyo, and visited the Ghibli museum, Nikko, Kamakura, Nara, Osaka and Kyoto.
